Wonton Noodles

It’s been so long since my last post :X

I cooked Wonton Noodles for dinner on sunday. I made the wonton myself ( except for the skin)

Wonton Recipe

Ingredients:

– Chestnuts ( bought the canned ones)

– minced ground pork ( aka minced meat)

– Prawns ( deshelled)

– Thin wonton skin ( read the packaging that says it’s thin. )

1) Chop chestnuts into small pieces. Cut prawns into small pieces

2) Mix pork, chestnuts and praws together with soya sauce and pepper to your liking. Ensure mixture is well mixed

3) Start wrapping the mixture in the wonton skin

4) Boil water.Put wonton in water ( to remove the ‘yellow’ colour)

5) Boil another pot of water for wonton soup. Put chicken cube or stock according to instructions on packaging.

Char Siew

I used Pork Roast Loin to marinate with my fave Lee Kum Kee Char Siew Sauce. Baked in the oven according the the instructions on the bottle

Mee Pok

Prepare noodles according to instructions on the packaging

Prepare the vege ( Cai Xin)

There you go! Delicious meal ! 😀 but my mum’s wonton noodles is still better .. well… I don’t know how to make the sauce for the noodles.. so we put chili sauce and soya sauce instead.
